The CBPModule collects wear debris protecting the environment while improving brake performance. Test results utilizing the CBPModule prototype installed vs. the bogey without the module on a dynamometer test procedure SAE J2707B, showed an average of 17% less wear on the pads, 2% less wear on the rotor, while collecting 92% of the wear debris in this worst case scenario. The operating temperature on the outer pad was reduced on 82% of the snubs up to 30 degrees Fahrenheit. We are currently bench testing other CBPModules.
